Your questions, answered

  • What is your rate and do you offer sliding scale?

Currently, the rate for a 50-minute individual session is $175, $200 for a 50-minute couples session, and $225 for a 50-minute EMDR session. I do offer sliding scale rates for individual sessions going as low as $125. We can discuss and find a rate that works for you during a free 15-minute consultation call.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider and don’t directly accept insurance. However, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance if they cover out-of-network services. Additionally, I offer a sliding scale for those facing financial difficulties, which allows us to find a rate that fits your situation.

  • Do you offer in-person sessions?

I provide sessions exclusively online. I find that remote therapy can be just as effective and offers flexibility to fit your schedule. If you have any specific questions about how remote sessions work, feel free to ask!

  • How long does each therapy session take?

Each session, whether for individual or couples counseling, typically lasts 50-minutes unless we arrange something different. I also offer 75-minute couples sessions as well as EMDR sessions.

  • How will I know if a therapist is a good fit for me?

A key sign is whether you feel comfortable and safe sharing personal things with your therapist. It’s also important to think about the approaches and techniques they use. Knowing their methods can help you decide if their style feels like the right fit for you.

  • What if I don't know what to talk about in therapy?

It's totally okay if you're not sure what to talk about in a session. Some days might feel harder, whether because you're unsure of where to start or because the topic is tough. As long as you're here and ready to show up for yourself, I'll help guide our conversation and make the most of our time together. You don’t need to have a specific topic in mind—that's perfectly fine!
